Teaching World

I'm entering my 6th school year teaching and have held multiple positions in a variety of schools. This year I am settling into what I believe will be a sustainable career as the Adaptive PE teacher for the Wallingford Public School District. In my previous years teaching I have taught Physical Education, Health and Adaptive PE. I'm thrilled to be working in a school district that believes in quality and appropriate education for students with all learning needs and styles.

My teaching philosophy revolves around appropriate lessons that are challenging and designed around success oriented activities.

As a young educator my goal is to help each student perform their best both physically and cognitively. This goal can be accomplished by creating objectives for each lesson that challenges the students physically while assessing the cognitive understanding of teamwork, strategies, and the performance of specific physical skills. I might be young but I have passion and hard work and will never shy away from a challenge.
