Health Education

Part of my teaching experience revolves around Health Education. Students need to be aware that they only have one body and how to properly care of it from the inside to the outside. Starting at a young age health educators teach about hygiene, nutrition, and sleep. As students progress through school they learn how these behaviors help prevent illnesses, disease, and general mental and physical health ailments.

In my year as a high school health education teacher I partnered my classes with the Students Against Destructive Decisions club to create a Mock Crash presentation to demonstrate the dangers of drinking and driving.
